Passport Services Integrated With DigiLocker for Paperless Documentation

Inaugurating the “DigiLocker” platform for the “Passport Seva Programme” of the Ministry of External Affairs, Union minister V Muraleedharan on Friday mentioned it might allow residents to submit the paperwork required for passport providers in a paperless mode and they might not be required to hold the unique paperwork. Speaking on the occasion, the minister of state for exterior affairs mentioned the “Passport Seva Programme” has introduced in big transformation in the direction of the supply of passport providers within the nation.

Not only the work of simplifying passport rules has been achieved but also, we have worked towards taking passport services closer to the doorstep of the citizens,” Muraleedharan added.
